Emotional Freedom Technique
Tapping our way to ease
EFT or Tapping is an extraordinary therapy, introduced in 1995 by Gary Craig, a Stanford Engineering graduate in lifelong pursuit of personal well-being. It's a gentle, evidence-informed approach that combines elements of talking therapy with acupressure. Often described as "emotional acupressure," it involves tapping lightly with the fingertips on specific meridian points on the face and body — the same points used in acupuncture — while focusing on a particular thought, feeling, or memory. This combination is thought to calm the body's stress response, helping to ease the emotional intensity of anxiety, phobias, trauma, cravings and dependencies, and many of the everyday and long-standing challenges we carry with us. Sessions are gentle and collaborative; you stay fully in control throughout, and nothing is forced. Many people find that EFT brings noticeable relief within just a few sessions.
Right now I'm in training to become a fully fledged EFT practitioner and am really excited to bring that to offer soon.
Meantime I can offer free sessions to people and you're welcome to get in touch about that.
I also have space for 2 people to work with me for a longer set of sessions to work up into anonymised case studies.
If that sounds interesting I'd be glad to book an exploratory phone call between us. Get in touch
